Electric Ford F-150 Pickup Truck

Ford executives have shared some details about the upcoming electric F-150 at the press conference built for campaign and they are also celebrating the start of production of the 2021 F-150 pickup.

The new electric truck will have more horsepower and torque than any ford that are currently available which means it will be having more power than the Raptor which produces 450  horsepower and 510 LB-FT of torque. Ford also said that it will have the fastest acceleration and ability to tow heavy vehicles.

The prototype based on the previous generation is currently on testing and Ford said that the EV will be cheaper than any F series truck and additionally it will save more than 40 percent over maintenance than the gasoline. This will seek potential truck buyers to Ford.

Ford also said that they are developing a mobile power generation unit that’s completely new for F-150 electric that will make the truck as an electric source at job sites or camping. Isn’t it exciting?

Production of 2021 Ford F-150 pickup truck will start this week at Rouge Complex where Ford has made a $700 million investment for the electric version production so that it can develop in high tech manufacturing facility and it will go on production in mid-2022. The 2021 F-150 will be available in dealerships in November this year.
