2022 EQS will be the first electric vehicle by Mercedes in the U.S.

Mercedes recently revealed the concept of EQC 4×4 squared and we know that it’s not coming soon. Firstly, the EQC was about to come in 2020 as the first fully electric by Mercedes and when we were hoping that it will be the first Mercedes has changed plans for that. Daimler chairman Ola Källenius recently said that the EQS the fully electric sedan will be the first electric vehicle by Mercedes in the U.S.A. It will be revealed in the spring of 2021.

The luxury electric sedan will come as the 2022 EQS model and will be delivered in the summer of 2021. It is the electrification version of the S-class also, a part of the Mercedes electrification plan. Mercedes also confirmed that they will be offering an all-electric version of all models from A-class to S-class. It shows that electric vehicles are a major part of their future.

Daimler chairman Ola Källenius stated that there will be an electric Maybach that is planned to appear in three years and the G-wagon will also be getting electric treatment sometime in the future.
