2021 Mercedes Benz S-Class is more expensive than ever

Mercedes Benz S-class is the best-selling vehicle of the automaker and its 2021 model has excited us all. The luxury automaker has announced its pricing and details for the 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class. The full-size luxury sedan is expensive than ever now it starts from $110,850 for base model S500 4Matic, including a $1,050 destination fee.

The base model has an increased price of $15,650 from the 2020 Model. Well, it may worth it as it features more than the last model S450 base trim. Now, it comes with a standard all-wheel-drive, 12.8-inch OLED center display with Mercedes latest MBUX software and driver assistance tech including a 360-degree 3D camera, adaptive cruise control, collision-avoidance, protection system, and more. It is powered by a 3.0 L turbocharged I6 engine producing 429 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. The engine also comes with a 48-volt mild-hybrid technology which adds 21 horsepower and 184 lb-ft for more smother start and stops operation and powerful acceleration.

The new Mercedes Benz S-Class S580 Executive line starts from $132,500 including the destination which $8905 more than last year’s top trim. It is powered by a V8 engine that adds more than 33 horsepower more totaling it to 496 horsepower, it also has a 48-volt mild-hybrid technology like the S500. It features a fancy rear setup, electronically adjustable multi-contour seats, rear passenger airbag, wireless charging pad for the rear seat, pair of 11.6-inch touchscreens with a 7-inch removable tablet.

Well, the pricing is just the starting as both models are available in the AMG model and they are more expensive; the S500 starts at $115,150 and S580 starts at $121,650. It adds rear-wheel steering, a body kit, a special head-up display, a Warmth & Comfort package with heated armrests, etc. the standard 2021 Mercedes Benz S-Class S500 and S580 will reach dealership in the U.S. in the first half of next year.
