Tesla has reduced price for its Model Y

Tesla has launched its much-awaited crossover (models Y) in March of this year, the model was a hit in early April and its price was $52,990 but because of coronavirus pandemic that hit the global auto industry, the price has been reduced by $3000 i.e. 6% of the early price and now available at $49,990.

Tesla has previously reduced the prices on Tesla model 3, Model X and Model S. In May, it reduced the starting price of the Model S sedan and Model X SUV by $5,000, and the starting price of the Model 3 sedan by $2,000.

Despite the Covid-19 pandemic, Tesla managed to deliver 90,650 cars in the second quarter of 2020, that was beyond the predictions of analysts.
