Maserati New Compact SUV Grecale

Maserati New Compact SUV Grecale

At the debut of the Maserati MC20 Supercar, Maserati announced its new compact luxury SUV that is part of the Italian automaker to launch 10 new vehicles by 2023. It will slot below the small SUV Levante and will have the name Grecale. Grecale is the name of the Wind as most Maserati’s already carries wind name.

Maserati will build Grecale at a casino plant in Italy where Alfa Romeo Stelvio is built, this if not confirmed that these two cars will share components. No details are released by the automaker only that the new version will have a hybrid and battery-electric powertrain and internal combustion engine.  Some visible details like headlamps, taillights, and bumper say that it will not share the design with the Levante.  Its production will start where Maserati has made an investment and the Trofeo treatment will also be available in Grecale. We are expecting that the new Grecale will compete with Porsche Macan and BMW X3

Maserati is currently not offering electric vehicles but it is working on them and by 2025 six vehicles will be there; the first will be the next-generation GranTurismo and GranCabrio models that are scheduled to come in 2021.
