2021 Porsche 911 GT3 is coming soon

The German automaker shared the first look of the 2021 Porsche GT3 and it seems like they have designed it specifically for the most diehard fans in mind.

The exterior of the Porsche 911 GT3 has camouflage up front and rear, a lower front air intake that resembles a jet engine. The rear wing is placed on the top that looks something different but it is said that it’s for aerodynamic advantage. Looking up to its inside the new instrument cluster is placed with two outer gauges hidden behind the steering wheel. It has a specific GT model that places all important information directly to the left and right central analog tachometer.

The powertrain is similar to the previous 911 GT3 i.e. 4.0 L flat-six and is expected to have a 500-horsepower rating and 9000 rpm redline. The engine is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission that is better than 992’s 7-speed manual and 7-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission. This is clear that Preuninger’s team has listened to their customers for the 2021 Porsche 911 GT3. The gear selector has been replaced by a grippy feature a separate gate to select gears: push to downshift and pull to upshift.

Porsche has yet to announce the release date for the new 911 GT3 but we expect that it will come soon. The GT3 touring and regular GT3 will be available in both transmission and we expect to see GT3 TS again.
