2021 Mercedes Maybach GLS600 will reach dealerships later this year

The first SUV is being added to the Mercedes Maybach lineup which has S560 and S650 sedans. While we were expecting a higher price, Mercedes announced that it won’t happen in the case of Maybach GLS600 4matic as it will start at $161,550.

The Mercedes Maybach GLS will be powered with a twin-turbo 4.0 L V8 engine capable of producing 550 horsepower and 538 lb-ft of torque and the integrated 48-volt starter can up horsepower by 21 and torque by 184 lb-ft. the engine is paired with nine-speed automatic transmission. It goes from 0 to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds.

It features heated, ventilated, and massaging seats, roof-mounted interior light, Nappa leather upholstery, heated and cooled cupholder, and signature cabin fragrance. Bach passenger gets a 7.0-inch tablet and the wooden parcel shelf that separates the main cabin from the luggage area. You can also select a refrigerator compartment with custom champagne flutes isn’t it exciting?

The exterior has a chrome grille, running boards, standard 22-inch wheels; the 23-inches are optional, the hood is mounted with Mercedes three-pointed star and two-tone paint. It will be offered in two-rows and the second row can have reclinable seats or a three-seat option. The 2021 Mercedes Maybach GLS will go on sale later this year.
