2021 Jaguar F-Pace SVR debuts with higher speed

Jaguar has given significant updates to its best-selling SV product, the Jaguar F-pace SVR 2021 model. This update includes more torque, tuning, cosmetic difference, and improve performance.

The 2021 Jaguar F-pace SVR is powered by the same 5.0 L V8 that produces 550 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque i.e. 14 more than the last year. The engine is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that uses a torque converter similar to XE SV. Jaguar said that now the F-pace SVR can go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds which is 0.3 quicker than its predecessors. Also, its top speed is 178 mpg, 2 mph more than earlier.

Inside it, a new 11.4 touchscreen infotainment system is with Jaguar’s latest Pivi Pro software, a new steering wheel with zinc-alloy shift paddles, standard faux-suede upholstery, and standard aluminum accents on the hard interior with open-pore carbon available as an option.

To improve its driving dynamics, the brakes have more high-quality pads and cooling than before. A new electric booster system is also there to deliver a sportier and shorter brake pedal. The exterior stylings don’t seem different much, Jaguar said that the aerodynamics drag has reduced to give high-speed stability.

The pricing for the 2021 Jaguar F-pace SVR is yet to be announced by the automaker but we are expecting it to be higher than the current outgoing model, its base price starts at $81,750.
