2021 Ford F-150

Ford has announced its F-150 is coming by late 2020. F-150 has been the best-selling vehicle in America. Ford has also announced that it has been redesigned to make it tougher. Interior also changes it is more luxurious than earlier. Ford has said that it will have best-in-class towing capacity and payload capacity. Let’s see in-depth what new F-150 is offering.

The five options of the engine that is available in 2020 Ford F-150 are available in this also-

• 3.3-liter V6
• 2.7-liter EcoBoost twin-turbo V6
• 5.0-liter V8
• 3.5-liter EcoBoost twin-turbo V6
• 3.0-liter Power Stroke V6 Turbodiesel

Expect for that, first time Ford is having all hybrid engine i.e. 3.5 L twin-turbo PowerBoost V6 engine that will give the best in class horsepower and torque. The PowerBoost contain a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine with 35kw electric motor and 10-speed automatic transmission. The motor draws power from a 1.5-kilowatt-hour lithium-ion battery that resides under the truck’s bed. The estimated EPA is approx. 700 miles on a full tank of gas; rest of the numbers are not released by ford yet. The engines will be paired with 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard and four-wheel-drive is optional.

The exterior has been changed to give it a modern touch and to increase its rigidity as per the details by Ford the F-150 has not gained much size than it’s earlier and there will be 11 grilles with halogen, LED, or adaptive LED headlights to give more light in the dark. Eleven different body colors options will be available for new F-150.

Going up to its interior, it is changed and upgraded by adding luxuriousness and premium materials with more storage units. With the available max recline seats, you can rest easily after a tough day.

The most advance SYNC 4 infotainment system is standard in all trims with the compatibility to Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It will come with 8-inch and 12-inch touch screen depending on trim. Not all map and infotainment updates will be available you will have performance and maintenance updates. Two options for the audio system are available i.e. 8 and 12-speaker Band Olufsen audio system.

The new F-150 can be linked to your smartphone with the Ford Pass system. The app will control several pickup-specific functions, including zone lighting, trailer light check, the Pro Power Onboard system, and trailer theft alert.

Ford CoPilot 360 will be standard that include automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, automatic high-beam headlights, and hill-start assist.  We are expecting more advance safety features to be standard or available in new F-150.

The 2020 Ford F-150 will be available in seven different models, pricing has not revealed by Ford.

As per Ford, the models are made for a different purpose and of course, they have some different standard features, let’s see what it is.

XL trim the base model has been made for utility and hard work so keeping that in mind it has tough interior and exterior. The SYNC 4 with 8-inch touchscreen is standard and many equipment options available.

STX has been designed for streets and has equipment’s to handle the toughest terrain. It will be having blackout interior and sport-cloth seats.

XLT will be having an available 12-inch touchscreen, medium-dark slate interior, comfortable cloth 40/20/20 and fold-down console.

Lariat Sport will be having Vintage Carmine interior, leather-trimmed captain seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel and a standard 12-inch touchscreen.

King Ranch will be having java interior with genuine wood-trimmed accents, hated and ventilated full-leather seats and an impressive cabin.

Platinum will be having Carmelo interior with brushed aluminium and gunmetal accents, multi-contour bucket seats, leather upholstery.

Limited will be having admiral blue and light slate leather bucket seats, leather on the dash, console lid and door inserts, leather-wrapped steering wheel and 12-speaker B&O audio system.
